Ever since I can remember, most family gatherings, celebrations and other reasons to just come together were surrounded by food. And I dont mean some catered affair, I mean some good ol’ down home cookin’ that may, on occasion, make you wanna slap yo mama!
Well, due to my extensive experience consuming these delightful moments, it soon came time for me to begin contributing to the festivities. Once I got out into the world on my own and began to cook, I realized that I had apparently inherited some culinary skills from my ancestors!
Over time, I’ve had my hand in the proverbial pot. And now, with the help of my mother and other various family members… I get the chance to share my favorite time of the day with you!!!
