Game Day Favorites: Buffalo Chicken Dip

by ash10

This is a very easy recipe that everyone will love! I’m so distraught that I failed to remember to snap a photo of this tasty bite!  It’s easily served with crackers or celery, but giving the gift of options is always fun when guests are invited!

Ingredients:

4qt Slow Cooker
1(8ounce) package of softened cream cheese
1/2 cup ranch or blue cheese dressing
1/2 cup Franks Red Hot Buffalo Wing Sauce
1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese
2 (9.75 ounce) cans chunk chicken breasts in water or 18oz fresh chicken breasts
1 small yellow onion, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 small jalapeno, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
Lawry’s Seasoned Salt
ground black pepper
onion powder
garlic powder
parsley flakes
cayenne pepper

Preparation:

In a warm sauce pan, with olive oil, saute your vegetables until they are soft(a bout 8 minutes). Once the veggies are cooked, season your chicken to taste and add it to your sauce pan( canned or fresh), cooking until brown and cooked throughout.  Once the chicken has finished, stir in your cream cheese until smooth.  Next add your dressing and buffalo sauce.  Once everything is mixed evenly and hot, add the mixture to a slow cooker, add your cheese and let it continue to cook on high for an hour.  If a slow cooker isn’t handy, preheat your oven to 350 degrees and bake your mixture for 20 minutes in a dutch oven or casserole dish until the mixture is hot and bubbly.

I promise, your guests will love every bite!
